CASK Announces the 11th Annual Student Art Exhibition “Art from the Heart”
Lynbrook, NY, August 19, 2008 -
CASK, The Creative Art Space for Kids Foundation is proud to announce the 11th Annual Student Art Exhibition, “Art from the Heart”.
This exhibition will feature and celebrate the artwork of over 50 young artists from Long Island and Queens between the ages of 5 to 12 years old who have participated in educational art programs at the CASK Foundation in the past year.
The children’s artwork will be on exhibit from September 14 through October 31, 2008.
The opening reception will take place on Sunday, September 14, 2008 from 1pm-3pm. During the opening reception CASK will host an open studio where kids are welcome to come and create in the art studio.
This event is free of charge and open to the public. Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult.

OUR MISSION:
Serving the Long Island community with an artistic education center since 1996, CASK, the Creative Art Space for Kids Foundation is a non profit Visual Arts Center for children and adolescents that develops self expression and confidence through the arts. CASK offers afterschool and weekend classes throughout the year in drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery and mixed media as well as summer art camp for kids & teens ages 5 to 17 years old. School & group trips are welcome as well.
Our art gallery is open to the public during our regular business hours. Business hours are Tuesday through Friday 11am to 8pm and Saturdays 11am to 6pm. The art center is closed Sunday and Monday.
